Incorporating a Statement of Work

A contract is merely a business deal that’s written down and the Statement of Work (also called the Scope of Work or other similar names) is arguably one of the most important parts. It essentially says what the parties expect from each other. What is included in the work to be performed and what is not? Disputes frequently arise because the parties have not paid enough attention to insuring that they are in full agreement with this part of the contract.
